Join Maria Wheatley the author of Avebury, Sun, Moon and Earth and Discovering Wiltshire – a gazetteer of ancient sites to discover the diverse aerial and earth energies associated with ancient sites in southern England.
Each sacred site has its own unique geodetic signature which gives the site its Spirit of Place and function. We will discover that certain stone circles, earthen mounds and ceremonial centres performed a distinctive energetic role.
Ancient peoples worldwide could harness the power within the land. Remarkably, standing stones, temples and man-made structures could store and transmit earth energy and vestiges of their ancient technology remains. I will show you evidence to support this. Alongside Rodney Hale and David Webb, I have successfully recorded the frequencies of earth energies and megalithic energy. Come along and experience the hidden energies encoded into sacred sites.
All the workshops are suitable for beginners or experienced dowsers and each workshop is only £25 per person.

AVEBURY'S RITUAL LANDSCAPE – Dowsing the Seven Wonders of Avebury Henge
Meet outside The Henge Shop at 10.30 am to 3.30 pm
Dowse Avebury’s megaliths for hidden energy. The stones transmit a linear beam of electromagnetic energy to one another which is called 'cross-talk'. Using sensitive equipment the frequency of this energy line was successfully detected. Also discover how certain stones act as an esoteric compass encoding the site.
Interact with the Mary and Michael lines discovered by Hamish Miller and Paul Broadhurst and feel their healing energy.
Locate the NEW earth energy system delicately emerging from within the Mary and Michael lines – the Divine Child - discovered by Maria Wheatley and confirmed by numerous international psychics and dowsers such as George Kavassilas, Herma Koomwinder, Heather and Bert Janssen.
Locate the healing area within the stone avenue and discover how an Earth Spring dramatically effects the location. An earth spring emits negative ions which we have recorded and are known to be conducive to good health. See below for further details.
Visit the West Kennet long barrow and dowse its long lost avenue and discover the nearby underground chamber ignored by archaeologists. Also within the mound locate the vortex point which makes a rod swing wildly and the hands tingle.
Interact with the Genesis ley at nearby Neolithic earthworks upon Knoll Down.
Explore the Sanctuary and find out why this ruinous monument still has perpetual power. We will show you the radiation levels detected within the centre of the monument which defy explanation.

NEW Sat 22nd April 2012 The Druidic mysteries of Maiden Castle
Meet at Maiden Castle car park at 11 am. Workshop 11 – 4 pm
Maiden Castle is England’s finest Iron Age hill fort and was once a Druid capital of Southern England. The knowledge of earth energies was handed down to the Druids by the Bronze Age priesthood. We will interact with the geomantic energies of this vast earthwork and learn how they were used by the Druids.
For instance, the union of certain ley lines was regarded as auspicious by the Druidic caste and a chosen location to inaugurate warriors, magicians and royalty. Also, the Druids realised that certain earth energies could enhance food production at a time when the climate was dramatically changing.
Ley lines
During my research of energy lines, I discovered one of the earliest references to ley lines, which Dr John Dee documented (1527-1606). In one of his books, the Royal astrologer to Queen Elizabeth I wrote: “The true mathematical science is that which measureth the invisible lines and immortal beams which can pass through cold and turf, hill and dale. It was for this reason, it was accounted by all ancient priests the chiefest science; for it gave them power both in their words and works.”
The ‘ancient priests’ Dee was referring to were the Bronze Age megalithic builders, the later Druids and probably the Culdees - the early Christians of Britain.

Uffington Castle an Iron Age ceremonial centre
Two magnetic male and female earth energy currents were discovered within the Uffington complex by author Gary Biltcliffe. We will dowse and interact with this unique system of earth energies at Uffington Castle.
Wayland's Smithy Neolithic long barrow 7 pulsating earth energy points – a hidden chakra system
At Wayland's Smithy Neolithic long barrow, which is nearly 5000 years old, we will interact with the 7 energy points along the axis of the barrow discovered in the late 80s by Dennis Wheatley. These points are healing and may hint at long lost barrow rites. You can feel the energy with the palms of your hands or use a dowsing rod to detect this unseen energy.
Dragon Hill
The pulsating barrow energy is carried across the ceremonial landscape within the Genesis ley line which emerges from Dragon Hill. Genesis lines emerge from the ground, flow within and slightly above the surface of the earth, and eventually descend into the ground. Genesis Leys were discovered in the 80s; they have a beginning and a termination point and hence the term Genesis.
The White Horse
Challenging orthodox opinion, we will investigate the White Horse and the long lost Celtic fertility horse discovered by the Master Dowser Guy Underwood in the 1950s. Recently, Maria Wheatley discovered the changing outline of the horse using Underwood's surveys and field notes.

Sat June 2nd 11 – 4 pm The Westbury White Horse, long lost hill figures, Bratton Castle & Edington Church.
Meet at Bratton hill fort car park at 11 am
Discover two lost hill figures - one that represented the Neolithic Age of Taurus - discovered by the field archaeologist and Master Dowser Guy Underwood - and a Bronze Age ‘Beaked’ Horse found by expert archaeologist and pendulum dowser Tom Lethbridge. Recognized and surveyed by the two archaeologists, the traces of the hill figures were once visible upon the hillside. However, I must point out that the archaeological community instantly dismissed their findings. Old surveys and field notes recently found by Maria Wheatley in the Underwood collection reveal the exact location of the strange effigies and figures across the Wiltshire landscape.
We will also visit the nearby Bratton camp for powerful energy lines associated with the hill figures and Edington church for Masonic design canons. The early Christians – the Culdees – used a yin and yang entrance under the guidance of Mary Magdalene, Edington has such an entrance.

We will investigate the old rites of the early Christian priesthood who incorporated earth energies into the foundation plans of their holy constructs. Earth energies were activated and used to raise consciousness, assist spiritual growth and to release karma.
Hidden chakra system
In the late 80s Dennis Wheatley found a powerful chakra system within the grounds of the abbey and my research shows it was used by the Royal Bloodline. Today holy water is placed upon the Third Eye chakra when one is baptised into the church. However, this rite is ineffective if the other chakras are not blessed and opened. A much older rite, reserved for the hierarchy, awakens the entire chakra system by utilising the Earth Force and the axis line of the abbey. By walking a particular way around the abbey one encourages spiritual awareness and growth.
Dennis also discovered that the chakra-force causes the Mary line to split into a diamond shape.
We will also visit the beautiful Chalice Well gardens for a meditation and climb the Tor.

Cley Hill became famous in the 1970s as many people claimed to see UFOs from the summit. This enigmatic site has some of the most powerful earth energies in the area and a large feminine ley line flows along the summit. This area may have been used by priestesses following a goddess religion. The fast flowing ley energy may attract UFO activity. We will discuss the UFO and Ley Line connection and the strange reports of the 'Warminster thing'. Free handouts revealing ley line research and UFO activity.
Celestial Energy
Nearby is a simple earthen circle known as the Codford circle. It's a perfect circle and has been dated to the Neolithic era. The Yin ley flows from Cley hill and encircles this earthwork as if creating a feminine enclosure. Upon the high ground you can see for miles. At night, this earthen ceremonial centre may have been used as an astronomical observatory. Were there any stones here? Let's find out.
Sat July 7th The Rollright stone circle
Meet in the stone circle at 10.30 am workshop ends at 3.30 pm
The King Stone and the Whispering Knights are some of the best megaliths in the UK to dowse. Mainly because the stone circle still retains its circular shape and therefore acts as a stone circle proper – unlike the ruinous stone circles of Avebury and Stonehenge. The shape of a circle – be that a stone circle or a circle drawn on a piece of paper - emits energy. This concept was known and employed by medieval occultists and magicians who knew of the circle's protective and magical properties.
Experience form energy
We will detect form and spin energy at the site and how stone circles always have an Exit Gate to direct the flow of energy across the countryside. Learn how to recognise these features and interact with the power within the land.
Magnetic and radiation hotspots
The Dragon Project investigated the site in the late 70s and some startling results were found and we will explore their fascinating findings. We recently conducted our own survey and located a powerful magnetic hot spot close to the stones and we will discuss how the energy can raise consciousness. Bring along a compass to detect magnetic flow energy.
Check the polarity of the stones
Expert dowser, Tom Graves, discovered that some of the Rollright stones change their polarities from positive to negative, and back again, on strict time scales, in seconds, minutes, hours or days. This phenomenon can be checked with a pendulum, quite easily at certain stones which change their polarities quite rapidly compared to the others. Graves noticed that some of the stones are ‘twinned’ and alter their polarities exactly in phase with each other.
Ley Triangulation Dennis Wheatley discovered that the standing stones direct energy lines which target the King Stone creating an intense energy triangle that can be felt and dowsed at certain points. This type of energy is FREE energy and a form of Neolithic WiFi! Remarkably, this energy line travels to the next megalithic site, linking ancient site to ancient site across vast distances.
Negative Green energy
One of the most toxic forms of earth energy – negative green – is also located close to the stones. We will examine the nature of this energy and learn how to recognise it.

Meet at the Woodhenge car park at 10.30 finish at 3.30 pm.
Woodhenge and Durrington Walls
We will explore the hidden foundation plan of Woodhenge and discover how it was used. Nearby is a long lost temple which we can dowse. It once overlooked the complex and may have been used by the healers of the area. Free survey of the Temple discovered by Guy Underwood in the 1950s so you can draw your own conclusions.
Fast flowing energy lines and time slips
In the afternoon, we will visit the Cursus barrows and discover the dowseable lines and dynamics of the fast flowing energy lines which converge at Stonehenge. Remarkably, along these lines time slips have been reported by (ex) military personal which we will discuss.
The coil of the Dragon
The Bronze Age round barrows known as the Cursus barrows are also associated with an earth energy pattern called The Coil of the Dragon which some Chinese families and Feng Shui Masters revered and taught as part of their oral tradition. Bodies placed above these energetic patterns, which also occur at Westminster Abbey, are said to preserve the bones of the deceased. We will uncover evidence to support this claim and explain why the Royal Bloodline adopts this ancient pagan practice.

Busty Taylor helped compile the first book published on Crop Circles called Circular Evidence, which became an international best seller. His valuable insight into the evolving nature of the circles inspired writers such as Colin Andrews. He will show us direct physical evidence, such as stalks bent at right angles, and share with us his wisdom and knowledge.
Busty has been researching crop circles since the 1980s and he will share with us his understanding of the circles and discuss the history of the phenomenon. Maria will apply her dowsing skills to give a new understanding of the crop circle mystery.
Sat Aug 18th Stanton Drew and Stoney Littleton long barrow

The Venus Square - within the second largest stone circle in UK there is a magnetic energy grid called a Venus Square that was used for healing or even telepathic purposes. Evidence for this grid is actually encoded into the Great Circle. A geomancers eye quickly notices the odd encoder stone and realizes its importance. This unusual stone was discovered by Dennis and Maria and decoded by a Chinese geomant. Stanton Drew has a unique energetic role.
During the 1950s, Guy Underwood and an archaeologist from Birmingham University were studying the effects of geomantic telepathy used by tribal peoples of the Pacific. We will discuss their strange findings, which may have been practised at specific locations at Stanton Drew.
Underwood claims to have found underground tunnels at the site. Is there more beneath the stone circle? His dowsing of the avenue some 50 years ago perfectly matches the most recent archaeological findings, which proves his dowsing was highly accurate. We will locate the tunnels and follow their path.
Stoney Littleton long barrow is a fascinating Neolithic burial chamber. Perhaps before the bones were placed into the small chambers the barrow was used for other purposes. Interestingly, coursing down the axis are several parallel ley lines creating an intense energy flow that can be felt – and often seen by the camera! There are areas where the earth energy emerges from the ground which are healing locations and can make the aura expand by several inches. Free Underwood survey so you can draw your own conclusions.

The Druids handed down the knowledge of earth energies to the Templars and the Masons. At Old Sarum we discover a mystifying energy plan and why the first cathedral was struck by lightning causing its demise. In the afternoon we will visit the medieval city's cathedral and dowse the geo-cross which secretly protects the site and interact with other earth energy lines and patterns.

Decoding Medieval churches in the Avebury area encoded by the Knights Templar & the Masons.
